It's a great place right in the heart of the capital of USA. Located at the NW part of Washington DC, AU looks like a little village inside a forest. I was there from winter 1986 until summer 1991 doing my BS in Audio Technology and a minor in Computer Science.
It was there that I started getting my hands into computers. Computers and Music: what a great combination! Early 1988 a good friend, biologist and a good musician too, Regas Santas introduced me to the BITNET and that was it!
Early 1989 the first CMS account (my account) for a student was created at AU and a few days later with the great help of Jim McIntosh the first mailling list Hellas was created at the American University.
