EEXI
- EEXI is the first non-profit Internet organization in Greece. It is also the first organization that gave lessons about usage and technologies for the Internet and strolngly promoted and still does these areas to the public.
- The Friends of Internet in Greece, FIG, were formed at Colombo Travel with great success on November 1993. At that time Internet was a mess in Greece and that made FIG a very succesful move. Soon it became officially recognized by the Greek Goverment as EEXI, Enosi Ellinon Xriston Internet, or in English AHIU, Association of Hellenic Internet Users.
- The goals of the society are to protect and promote Internet in such a way that will help as many people as possible to become members of it, enjoy and contribute to the goods of this community.
