- HOL is the first ISP that gave commercial dynamic (C)SLIP/PPP access in Greece.
- It is also the first ISP in Greece that got a direct link with USA.
- HOL was the first dual homed ISP with one link at London, Europe and a second one at New York, USA with BGP.
- HOL is the first ISP that offered analog dialup Linux NAT boxes arround 1995 with local mail and web servers installed along with static IP that helped many small and medium sized business LANs to have a quick, secure, reliable and cheap access to the network.
