FORTHnet
- FORTHnet is the first ISP that got a 2Mbit backbone within Greece and the first site that got international links of speeds of 9.6kbit, 64kbit, 128kbit and 512kbit here in Greece.
- FORTHnet is the first ISP that nationally gave coorporate static (C)SLIP/PPP access. Further more was the first hostmaster for the GR domain.
- FORTHnet was studing carefully the growing demand of the public for Internet and decided to start a profitable business arround summer 1994. So far they have done a good job and competition forces them to keep doing so.
